Barboras. They’re always missing something. Or at least they’re always afraid they might miss something. What about you? Are you fed up with everything and need a break? Non-verbal stand-up from the artistic duo B&B.
Barbaoras. They’re always missing something. Or at least they’re always afraid they might miss something. That they’re not keeping up with everything they want to. That they won’t get everything they want. That they won’t satisfy everyone the way they want to. And so they’re determined to “work it off” in yoga class, bowling, and Tinder. They say you just have to be in the here and now. But how, if she has to be over there in a few minutes?!
What about you? Are you fed up with everything and need a break? Treat yourself to a good dose of zen. Allow yourself to not check the time for once. We’ll take care of everything for you. Come on. And be with us here and now.
The theatre duo B&B consists of performers Barbora Ješutová and Barbora Nechanická. Both are graduates of Nonverbal Theatre at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and have extensive experience in movement theatre: together they starred in the film Ephemera (2021) by the ensemble Farm in the Cave, with whom Barbora Ješutová has been working continuously since 2018 and performs in the production Commander (2022). She has also collaborated as a performer with Veronika Knytlová and Continuo Theatre.
Barbora Nechanická works not only in the field of movement theatre, where she has collaborated, for example, with choreographer Lenka Vagnerová, French choreographer Lionel Menard, but also in the field of drama, where she has participated in the movement component of several productions, for example, at the Dlouhá Dlouhá, Jihočeské divadlo in Pardubice or the Theatre in Ústí nad Labem.
